Yippee!! I finally completed Thing One. : 0
I was able to get my blog created without too much difficulty, but became quite frustrated working with my Avatar. There was most definitely something wrong with my Internet connection (or something!) yesterday, as it took me most of the day to not get it accomplished. I guess if I wouldn't have been so particular as to what I wanted to look like, I could've been satisfied with choices from the first screens. Every time I clicked on the next screen of images, the page would lock up. This morning? No problems whatsoever. I was able to click through all of the screens of choices and create my little person in no time at all. YIPPEE!! Setting aside that bit of trouble, I thoroughly enjoyed setting up my blog and Avatar.
I'm looking forward to working through the 23 Things. I am definitely a 'hands-on' type so this will be an excellent opportunity for me to find out about all of the newest and coolest tools and trends that friends and patrons talk about. My most difficult challenge will probably be the blogging. Just not crazy about writing.
Signing off for now,

Welcome to 23 Things on a Stick!
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty with the Avatar-- one of the other participants mentioned that as well. I understand, though, about wanting to see all of the choices-- that's what makes it fun. I enjoyed reading your post, so I hope you get more comfortable with writing about the tools as the program progresses.
I also wanted to let you know that if you want to view other SELS blogs and either comment or ask other participants questions, you can visit http://23thingsonastick.blogspot.com/2007/09/sels-blogs.html
got s list of other SELS bloggers.
Have fun!

I'm sorry about that: the correct link to other SELS blogs is
here
I noticed your great blog name and just happened to run across a fun gadget you might want to add. It is an animated pony and can be found in Google's blog at http://gmodules.com/ig/creator?synd=open&url=http://mingyeeiu.googlepages.com/ponies.xml. You can add it as a page element under the Templates tab/Page Elements/Add a Page Element, then select the HTML/JAVA script one and copy the code into it. Have fun!

Hey, thanks for the animated pony!! I'm not sure if this is the same one you were looking at, but the info you provided got me there anyway. Too funny ... I LOVE it! Many thanks,
